Thanks Fellas; it would be awesome if we got several people to commit to certain positions, or maybe each person could have a couple reports on each position.
I know I'll be knee deep in hybrid TE's, CB's, DT's, ILB's and DE's

I know I'll be knee deep in hybrid TE's, CB's, DT's, ILB's and DE's My thought was the poster, and you are likely to be a regular poster, would start a thread with a prospects name [perhaps his pos. and school], then post their scouting report as the top message. After that posters could add their comments and insights. The idea is the general draft comments threads could refer to these scouting threads as we move forward. We are not configured as a blog site like Boston ESPN Patriots blog, or the NEPD site, but we have never been short of insight and reasonable analysis. We are trying to grow these forums and improve on the ESPN Draft conference we are evolved from. Send us ideas on how we can improve our conversations. If you [anyone] can recruit a few folks to join in that would be great. Several of the regular have registered, but they have not started posting on a regular basis. I hope we can bring them back too.

Ahoy! (izzle) loving the site. getting used to it but very nice guys Good to see you ... Have you seen the cage we made for Panimal? I think that will be a key sub-board as we get going. Any thoughts, adjustments, etc just send them to Mac or moi. You might also like the "private message" feature for back channel communications.

I am pretty excited that we no longer have to deal with ESPN - Glad to see a lot of people have made it over here too.
All the doom and gloom that the media has tried to paint the Pats in is only wishful thinking. Our run game is going to be among the best in the league and the talent we have now at WR & TE is still better than when we were winning Super Bowls. The defense could be great - could be Elite. Last time the media and the world questioned the Patriots we took a big old shit on everyone we played until God stepped in and won the Super Bowl for the Giants. I expect that same kind of year. Not 16-0 but I think it could be the 4th quarter, Pats up by 35 and we still throw deep for TDs.
Take no prisoners this year. Make them beg for mercy.

There are bells and whistles here that we can explore and learn. For example you can "link" to a message. I'm not sure what that does, but my guess is it work like a URL to some message elsewhere on forum. I'll give it a shot.

pattalks.proboards.com/post/102/threadHere is a link to a message posted several days ago. So you could comment on the content of that post and save folks the headache of scrolling through the thread to find it.

I like how it sends you an email too when someone posts on here. Much better than ESPN.

I think winning the AFC East is a cake walk, though I expect to split with Miami. However, NE has too many holes, unanswered questions, to project NE as the best in the AFC. The Colts, Ravens, Broncos, Texans, may all be stronger than us unless our luck changes.

The Colts, Ravens, Broncos, Texans, may all be stronger than us unless our luck changes. Very well could be the case. We make the playoffs but depending on health (as always) we could either go for a deep run or just flat out stink it up. Colts are up and coming - those rooks from last year didnt play like rooks and I can see Luck being the cream of the crop within a few years as far as QBs go. Ravens - not worried about them and I hope we beat em by 70 and leave them for dead. Texans are going to be tough but I am not and never have been sold on their QB situation. But then again, we could come out flat and be a bottom half team. I think this is the most interesting season since 07 after the whole Spy Gate crap.

Mac promoted me to administration level so I could do some restructuring of the boards and what are called sub boards. The stars have something to do with how many messages you have posted. I'll work on those levels and put a few more stars on your paper. When you can, post a pix of you new child [boy/girl?] as your avatar.

Almost here - could be any day now. I think the final name we came up with was Emma Caroline Raine (Caroline after the OBX haha) I see my stars are rising with the posts - I think this board is going to be a good one.

If you guys had to guess what will our opening day starting front 7 be?
Nink-Kelly-VW-Jones Hightower-Spikes-Mayo
I think we need to work Collins in immediately with his athleticism and versatility but who do we bench Nink? I'd be all for that and going with the base 3-4 but I think BB trusts Nink over any rookie too much to change our scheme that soon.

I would agree but Collins might get forced into the lineup at various spots to see what he can do early or just off pure athleticism..Collins will get a lot of opportunity to learn as much inorder to be a factor in the poseason. I like what I'm hearing about Armstead also. Rumor has it he can play every position upfront except the nose. I aslo think Buchanan could be a steal as a 3/4 olb, situational rusher in 3/4 or DE. At 6'6 the length, quick first step and motor, with enough room to put on 15 pounds muscles (250 right now) Don't forget Francis and Bequette should serve as added help if he can offer anything..

Not sure if we all are able to see how many are on this site but we are up to 13 members and a whole bunch of guests who I presume are visitors who are reading but not posting and not signing up as members. Pretty good.
Front 7 - Jones, Kelly, Wilfork and Nink up front with Mayo, Spikes and Hightower backing up. while we are at it I see Talib and Dowling with McCourty and A Wilson in the secondary. I suspect Dennard will be cut or at least out of commission for a while otherwise I would have him starting. That hearing on July 31 is crucial but as I understand that is very one sided in favor of the prosecution. I think the deck is stacked against Dennard regardless of what really happened or did not happen.

The site also shows who has been on and who currently is on. Do others see that or is it only Administrators who see that?

I also think we will get use to the latest post being last rather than first. We were so used to the other way on the other site it is an adjustment but all we need to do is scroll in reverse.

If these year two guys take a decent step I dont see too any holes in any defensive formation the Pats can field. I like all the pass rushers they have collected too - 4-3 third downs are going to be fun to watch. A lot of potential but I still am not sold on Patricia.
Did anyone see a few days ago when Skip Bayless said the Pats were high on/excited about Dobson after OTAs?
